It's that time of year when the festival lineups start rolling out and we all begin making our 2017 plans. There are already have a few things on my calendar: Groove Cruise Miami, Movement Festival, Miami Music Week and of course last but not least Ultra.
I attended the festival for the first time last year and it overall I have to say it was one of the best experiences I have had a festival. The main reason it was one of the best...Resistance. Ultra brought the Arcadia Spectacular to Miami. If you didn't check out this massive, fire-breathing spider I have to say you missed out in a big way.
In true Ultra fashion, they once again have upped their game. Not only are they bringing back 'The Spider' but Resistance has now expanded to two stages. Resistance will take over the Megastructure on the first two days of the festival for the 13th edition of 'Carl Cox & Friends' or what I affectionately call, 'The Techno Temple.'
So, you might be wondering who is playing these two stages? The Spider will welcome house, tech house and techno artists including ANNA, Dosem, Eats Everything, Knee Deep boss Hot Since 82, Kolsch, Maceo Plex and Seth Troxler just to name a few.
Taking over the Megastructure is of course the one and only Carl Cox! Sasha and John Digweed will be playing together in the U.S. for the first time since 2010 on March 25th. Rounding out the lineup are Black Coffee, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, Tale of Us, Eli & Fur, B.Traits, Jon Rundell and Saeed Younan.

So, now that you've seen Phase One you want to go right? Of course you do! Who can say no to that?
Not to mention, there are still more artists to be announced in the coming weeks!
Now, if three days of techno/house heaven isn't quite your thing, not to worry Ultra has you covered. The full lineup includes The Prodigy (yes, you read that right), Justice Live (you read that right too), Major Lazer, Above & Beyond, Martin Garrix and more. Check out all of Phase One here.
3-Day GA tickets are still available for $324.95 + taxes and fees. This tier will sellout and once it does the price will go up. For more information on tickets, travel and the festival head to ultramusicfestival.com.
