This week, three major festivals give us motivation to plan our warm weather plans A.S.A.P. Desert Hearts Festival, Oregon Eclipse and Secret Solstice all make big waves with their choices.
1. March 31 – April 3: Desert Hearts Festival, Los Coyotes Indian Reservation, CA, USA
Just a month away, the West Coast vibe notables bring Desert Hearts
to Los Coyotes Reservation between L.A. and San Diego. Their “One Stage, One Vibe” focus, modern-bohemian décor and smiles are almost as welcoming as the music. As the crew grows, the Burning-Man-inspired community grows inclusive of various sub-niches in the deep house scene.
The lineup this year includes acts like Justin Martin, Dave Seaman, Doc Martin, Edu Imbernon, Detlef, Max Chapman, Marques Wyatt, Jozif, Atish, DJ Garth, Sacha Robotti, Ardalan, Oona Dahl, KMLN (live), Monolink (live), TACHES, m.O.N.R.O.E., The Glitz, Christian Martin and more.

2. June 16 – June 18: Secret Solstice Festival, Reykjavik, Iceland
Secret Solstice announced their first phase lineup
in December, and has added even more names to the list this week with their second phase announcement. This multi-genre lineup is insane. The span of musical acts covers everything from Prodigy to Chaka Khan to The Black Madonna to Rick Ross. It is highly unlikely that most people couldn’t find something inspiration.
For electronic music fans, there are acts like California-cool Droog, legend Kerri Chandler and industry leader Seth Troxler
. No matter your choice, you’ve got about 21 hours of daylight since the event takes place during summer solstice. And it bears mentioning that you can also catch one of their side parties in a glacier or on a boat with midnight sun. They sell fast though, so book quickly!

3. August 17 – 23: Oregon Eclipse, Big Summit Prarie, Oregon
The last mainland U.S. total solar eclipse was in the late 1970s. It makes sense then that the organizers of Symbiosis would forgo their usual gathering and join forces with 14 other worldwide festivals to create an ultra-event to bring music and activities to this mystical happening.
Over 300 artists will be split between seven stages. An immersive education series will be held before the event, and even hot air balloons are to be had. This will be an interesting festival as well, mixing sub-cultures in electronic music. The stage with the strongest electronic music focus is Sky. This stage is a festival with in a festival, featuring a lot of deep favorites like Ardalan, Worthy, Nico Stojan, &me, Damian Lazarus, Acid Pauli, and the aforementioned Desert Hearts crew.
