After a packed summer of shows and festival appearances, Paper Diamond debuted his new video stage set-up at a recent hometown show at the Ogden Theater in Denver. Playing off the diamond motif inherent in Paper Diamond's name, the light set-up blew the audience away as it provided the perfect accompaniment to Paper Diamond's vibrant sound.

The concept for the new stage set-up came from the idea of taking a common element, like a square, and turning it into something unique. Since many well known electronic artists utilize LED screens, Paper Diamond wanted to take the square video panels and turn them into something unique and reflective of his sound. Paper Diamond gathered the Elm & Oak team, and together they illustrated the design, which was finally built into fruition by Brown Note Productions. Through hands-on design on the part of Paper Diamond and cooperation and teamwork from other artists and designers (Ben Chaykin, Josh Holland, Ian Davis and more), the incredible structure was realized.

The Colorado native has an extensive background in making beats that are a blend of hip-hop, bass music, and electro, all with a whiff of ganja smoke blowing through it. He has a kind of raw energy and dramatic anticipation that only a seasoned producer can incite. His signature driving beats and bass grab onto you while deep, rich tones rumble under layers of spacey synthesizers, sweet melodies, and catchy vocals. Paper Diamond recently joined Diplo's Mad Decent label with an EP entitled Wavesight that was released May 3. It showcases Paper Diamond's talent for incredible bass, electronic, and hip-hop styles. Keep a look out for Paper Diamond's next EP, which is currently in the works and expected sometime this fall. Paper Diamond's Night Vision Tour will hit major cities across America throughout fall. He will be stopping by Dallas, Philadelphia, Madison, Baltimore, Portland, Boston, Brooklyn, and more. He will also be playing a special set in Chicago to make up for his Lollapalooza set that was cancelled due to a storm.
