Movement is here! With so many incredible artists playing in Detroit this weekend it was hard to pick just 10. We narrowed it down to some of our favorite artists we have seen before and some of the most anticipated of the festival. Here are OTB's Top 10 Can't Miss Sets of Movement 2017!
10. Kerri Chandler
One word comes to mind here and it's legend. Kerri Chandler is one of the best. He takes over the Paradise Stage on Monday, May 29th at 8 PM. Need a little warm-up for Movement, watch his Mixmag Live set.

Last year Heidi had one of our favorite sets of the weekend. For the Windsor, Ontario native this is a bit of homecoming. On Thursday night, she took over Motor City Wine for Boiler Room which finally returned to Detroit after a four year hiatus.
Catch Heidi on Sunday, May 28 at 4:30 PM at the Stargate Stage. Make sure to have your dancing shoes on!

8. Kevin Saunderson as E-Dancer
The Detroit techno pioneer is bringing his underground house alias E-Dancer to Movement for a live set. Last year he released a couple tracks under this alias on his own KMS Records. He closes out his ORIGINS Elevation Stage on Sunday, May 28.
Saunderson will also be playing with fellow Detroit natives Juan Atkins and Derrick May as The Belleville Three on the Main Stage Saturday, May 28 at 9 PM.
It's been a while since we have been able to catch a set from Dusky. Their 2016 album 'Outer' was one of our favorites. The London-based duo takes over the Pyramid Stage Saturday, May 27 at 6:30 PM.

6. Patrick Topping B2B Nathan Barato
If you follow us at Only The Beat you probably know we are big fans of anything off Jamie Jones' Hot Creations label. You also probably know we are big fans of Patrick Topping. So, just throw Toronto's Nathan Barato in the mix here and you can figure out where we will be on Monday, May 29th at 6:30 PM.
These two have a very, busy Summer ahead with touring and of course residencies in Ibiza. We are thrilled they are playing the Paradise Stage at Movement. Stay tuned for an interview with Barato post-Movement!
5. Nicole Moudaber
The Queen is holding court at Movement. Nicole Moudaber takes over the Main Stage on Saturday, May 27 at 7:15 PM. If you aren't going to the festival you can catch her playing at Adam Beyer Presents Drumcode on Sunday, May 28th at the Masonic Temple.
If you happen to miss both of these our fingers are crossed for one of these sets being featured during her weekly radio show In the MOOD which airs in over 45 countries.
4. Richie Hawtin
Richie Hawtin brings his CLOSE concept to Movement. CLOSE - Spontaneity & Synchronicity is Hawtin's next all-encompassing experience and it reaffirms his place as one of the genres innovators.
He takes over the Movement Main Stage on Saturday, May 27 at 10:45 PM.
3. Golf Clap
We are huge fans of this duo over at Only The Beat. These two have a very busy weekend ahead of them starting with their set at Movement on Saturday, May 27 at 2 PM. If you can't catch them there, you have ample opportunity elsewhere.
Sunday, May 28th - Shipfaced Boat Party
Sunday, May 28th - Country Club Disco x FK A GENRE
Monday, May 29th - Repopulate Mars
2. Carl Cox
OH YES! OH YES! OH YES! The one and only Carl Cox is back at Movement and closing out the Main Stage on Monday, May 29th at 10 PM. The King is playing a two-hour set and we expect it to be packed. Get there early to get a spot.
This might be the most anticipated set of the festival. deadmau5 hits the Movement Main Stage on Sunday, May 28 at 10:30 PM. We have listened to the set from SXSW 2013 at least a dozen times since the lineup came out. Movement is the only place fans will get to experience this set. Get there early for this one. Here's a sneak peek of what's to come from deadmau5.
