are bringing their headlining tour to Denver next month, and they're enlisting some fresh young talent to help them. Durango local Mtn Menace
and New York City-bred, Colorado transplant Meska join the Two Lost Boys Tour
in Denver for an eclectic night filled with wobbles and bass in the face.
Meska aka Charlie Macleay, is an up-and-coming producer and longtime bass music aficionado. Macleay got his start in Queens, where he grew up and spent much of his time attending shows and immersing himself in the local music scene. That passion spawned into a knack for creatively mixing different sub-genres of dubstep. After establishing himself in Colorado (which may indeed house the most concentrated number of bassheads), Macleay launched a new music project under an old name. He has assumed the Meska moniker and is now ready to showcase his talents at The Black Box on March 3rd.
Although he may not have much up on his SoundCloud now, you'll definitely want to be plugged in for when he starts dropping hot beats and uploading that new new to his page.
DABBLiN SHATTERDAYS VOL. 2 ft. MESKA
Macleay opens up the mix with an introductory edit of The Doors classic "Strange" before heading into Tipper's
"The Re-Up." Artfully pairing different samples with varying forms of Intelligent Dance Music, his mix ranges from bass house, ambient synths, hip-hop, and hard-hitting dubstep to close with a mashup of T.I.'s classic "What You Know."
Joining support is Colorado local Mtn Menace. You can preview his sounds by checking him out on SoundCloud.
