Oliver Heldens is an artist that is known far and wide, in nearly every corner of the dance music community for his groove-driven future house sound. Lately, Heldens has been quiet in the studio, rather, he’s choosing to focus on his new bass house moniker, HI-LO, as his last three releases have all been under his new alias. The first was released on Mad Decent and came in conjunction with the introduction of the HI-LO alias, while the second release was unveiled alongside the release of Heldens’ Heldeep Records, and now, Heldens is donning the HI-LO mask for his latest output on Spinnin’ Records, an edit of his Oliver Heldens re-make of “MHATLP.” The glitchy melody of the original sits on top of a new four-to-the-floor house backbone, while Heldens ramps up the energy with raw, rolling bass lines and whiny, high-pitched synth stabs to give this old school classic a new school look. Keep an eye out for "MHATLP" as it's set to drop on September 28th via Spinnin' Records.
