There’s no festival quite like the LED-produced Splash House, a two-day, three pool extravaganza that will descend on Palm Springs this weekend. Splash House will feature over 30 DJs performing across three stages at three different hotels, promising festival-goers a unique experience that is more in line with a massive Vegas pool party than a music festival. While the locale of Splash House is a big distinction from a typical music festival, what truly sets Splash House apart is its unique and forward-thinking lineup, as they welcome both underground and mainstream artists, like TÂCHES
and Thomas Jack, that fit the pool party atmosphere.
TÂCHES has always been an innovative and experimental artist, and his tastemaking reputation could not be more apparent than in his latest mix for Splash House. The Barcelona transplant has been developing his reputation as a fast-riser in the underground house scene, and TÂCHES has an undeniable talent at blending melodic refinement with darker undertones in his productions, which is apparent in his Splash House Session. From the opening cut, TÂCHES channels a Burning Man-esque, tribal vibe that is present throughout before delving into the meat of the mix, which keeps a light flavor throughout while managing your feet moving with a deep groove.
TÂCHES will make his American debut at Output in New York tonight before traveling to the West Coast for shows in Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, and Splash House.
