It's safe to say that Bassnectar heard his fans when they said they needed a longer weekend event. Last week Bassnectar announced the 10th event in the special series Bass Center X and he is bringing it back to "The Mothership" in Hampton, Virginia for a three night event. The lineup is stacked with artists such as Mr. Carmack, Cashmere Cat, Bleep Bloop, Shlump, CloZee, Son of Kick, Charlesthefirst, Tsuruda, Dan Deacon and of course the bass god himself who is going to play three sets. The three-day event will take place in the Hampton Coliseum which will be transformed into a magical space where the crowd is able to roam and dance while still having an auxiliary experience. According to Bassnectar's website they'll have The Haven, which will feature yoga and massage therapists, ambient djs and a water stations essentially a chill space for the crowd. They will also be introducing "The Lot" which will be an outdoor space with pop-up arts and crafts faire, guest performances and an opportunity for the bass heads community to bring their own art to showcase.

It's safe to say that Bassnectar is going all out for this event, “We're going all wonka for the 10th edition of Bass Center: The Mothership is our Chocolate Factory!” Since tickets do tend to sell out fairly quickly, he and his team are taking a different approach for presale tickets. The presale is going to be based on a lottery system where everyone gets one chance to enter and if you get picked your card will automatically be charged. This is a neat process to ensure that everyone gets a fair shot at presale. You can enter your name for the pre-sale lottery until Monday March 13th at 6pm EST. General tickets go on sale on Friday March 17th at 12pm EST, so be sure to grab your tickets since there's a limited amount of them.
